Xeneta, the largest real-time and on-demand ocean freight rates global benchmarking and market intelligence platform today announced that Paul Mullins, Ronald Plevier and Jocelyn Hansen, shipping industry experts have joined Xeneta to form its NVO commercial team effective immediately. Paul Mullins joins Xeneta as the Head of NVO at Xeneta. Previously, he was two years at INTTRA as Senior Vice President, Global Sales. Prior to INTTRA, Paul was at Agility where he was responsible for global business development. Earlier, Mullins held a number of positions at DHL as Senior Vice President, technology sector division, where he was responsible for managing the relationships of DHL’s top customers across all business units. He also served as VP Multinational Customers, Europe, where Mullins had responsibility for DHL’s top 75 multinational accounts. Joining Mullins to the NVO Xeneta is Ronald Plevier as Director of Business Development. Plevier comes to Xeneta with over 20 years of international experience in Sales- and people management in both the Forwarding and Logistics industry as well as in the IT Solution industry. Previously Ronald was with INTTRA as Regional Sales Director in EMEA, helping customers to achieve higher efficiencies in the maritime sector. Prior to that as Sales Director, instrumental in the European expansion of the Software Solution Providers KEWILL (now BluJay) and TESISQUARE, bringing Transport Management, Forwarding, Warehouse and Cross dock solutions to regional and global customers. Ronald started his career within the forwarding and transportation industry working in various operational, global sales and management positions with DHL, Geodis and Ewals Cargo Care. Jocelyn Hansen also joins Xeneta as Director of Business Development at Xeneta based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Hansen has had an extensive ocean shipping career with INTTRA for the past 16 years in various roles across Denmark, UK, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. In her last role as Global Relationship Director, Account Management at INTTRA, Hansen had overall responsibility for INTTRA’s top international freight forwarders where she built strong relationships across multiple layers and functions. Mullins, Plevier and Hansen join Andreas Leichert, Director Business Development NVO at Xeneta who has been already pushing Xeneta into the freight forwarding industry for the past year. Before Xeneta Leichert was at Catapult International as Commercial Director, Europe. “I am extremely pleased that we are able to bring such a high-caliber team together coming from different backgrounds and companies.
