Argentina's trade surplus shrank by 40 percent in July from a year earlier to $770 million , the government statistics institute said.
The surplus fell short of the median forecast of seven analysts in a Reuters poll expecting a surplus of $1.10 billion. Their estimates of the surplus ranged from $624 million to $1.34 billion. (Reuters)
