FPS Sri Lanka – a founder member of the FPS Group of independent forwarders and consolidators - has strengthened its management structure with the creation of new key posts,  new staff appointments and internal promotions. Senaka Premaratne has been appointed to the newly-created post of Chief Operations Officer, having joined the company in March as Head of Business Development. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), holds an MBA, and is a Certified Management Accountant Luckshman Ketagoda has been appointed Manager - Air Freight, responsible for imports, exports and transshipments. He has over 25 years’ experience in the air freight industry, most recently with a leading forwarder. Wasana Rathnayake has been promoted to the post of Manager - Agency Development, responsible for exploiting business opportunities with other FPS Group members. She has worked for FPS Sri Lanka for 6 years. Nisansala Ranasinghe has been promoted to Head of Documentation, managing a team of 10. She is now responsible for enhancing customer service, with particular focus on documentation accuracy. She joined FPS in 2007, is a qualified chartered ship broker and freight forwarder, and holds a Management Diploma. Ayanthi Ranasinghe now heads up FPS’ Customer Service function, with responsibility  for the development and smooth functioning of the entire nomination unit of FPS, including forwarding potential sales leads to fellow FPS Group members. She joined FPS in 2007.
