United Shipping, Inc. (USI), the premier Worldwide Association of Independently owned Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers with over 135 partner companies and 375 offices is pleased to announce that Rangel Mozambique has been selected as our newest territory representative in Mozambique.

Rangel Mozambique is a part of the Rangel Group which started its activities in 1980. The international expansion plan started in the mid 2000 and most recently in 2011 came the launch of Rangel Mozambique. Rangel Mozambique already has an interesting pallet of services, including Air & Ocean, cross border road solutions with its neighbor countries, as well as special project logistics for the mining and gas industry. To support its international activities, the company has its own customs division.

"Because Mozambique is a quite long country, which is more than 3000km, it is now the priority of the company to develop its own distribution system, offering domestic road solutions on a door to door basis, to the main regions of the country, particularly to the new developing areas of Tete, Pemba and Nampula/Nacala. Nevertheless, based in local agents, but always controlled by the headquarters in Maputo, we can already provide all the support on the two other main ports, Beira and Nacala. With our new presence in United Shipping, we will certainly be able to offer our clients reliable global solutions and to our new partners, the commitment of a dedicated and experienced local team, that has learned to take care of every shipment as 'THE SHIPMENT'," states Nuno Fonseca, Managing Director of Rangel Mozambique. Also, based on the most recent IMF Global Outlook on the coming decade of Mozambique, relating to its new mineral and gas resources, it will be one of the fastest growing countries in the world, with an average GDP increase close to 10%. "We invite United Shipping partners to join us in these great moments of new opportunities," Fonseca continues with great enthusiasm!

United Shipping, Inc. founded in 1988, is energized as we prepare to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in May, 2013. USI offers importers and exporters the advantages of multi-national corporations with the expertise that can only be found in locally owned and operated businesses. United Shipping's membership covers over 45 countries on 7 continents with over 40 offices in North America.

'We look favorably at the opportunity to have Rangel Mozambique expand USI's presence into Mozambique. Their stated values of excellence, reliability and commitment of a dedicated and experienced local team, aligns perfectly with United Shipping's almost 25 years of superior distinction in global logistics.
