2nd Annual Global Supply Chain Excellence Summit

The USC Marshall Center for Global Supply Chain Management Announces Open Registration for its 2nd Annual Global Supply Chain Excellence Summit  Friday, September 26, 2014 Join the USC Marshall Center for Global Supply Chain Management on 9/26/14 for a multi-industry  analysis of the true state of global supply chain excellence. Hosted at the USC Davidson Conference Center in Los Angeles, CA, this full-day event will feature panels, presentations and awards for the best practices found in verticals that include aerospace, defense, fast-moving consumer goods, energy, pharmaceuticals and retail.    In addition to industry-specific Subject Matter Experts, the session will also include regional discussions on APAC, China, the Indian sub-continent, Mexico and South America.  The presentations and panels will be chaired by distinguished professors from USC, as well as executives from firms that include Li &Fung, McDonald's, Northrop Grumman, Occidental Petroleum and Office Depot.  As part of the program, Dan Gardner, president and founder of Trade Facilitators, Inc., will be hosting an afternoon panel entitled, "Current Challenges & Opportunities in Logistics & Distribution." During the session, Mr. Gardner and the panel will be discussing such diverse topics as SS line overcapacity, e-commerce logistics, commercial real estate costs and the evolution of supply chain education.
