Container Weighing: A Technical Seminar from ICHCA International

New IMO regulations requiring the verification of freight containers’ gross mass will become mandatory from July 1, 2016. And though time is running short, many organisations - and, indeed, nations - are not yet prepared for this significant change to global container operations. The result? Serious operational, commercial and legal repercussions for various parties including shippers, forwarders, hauliers, carriers and terminals, as highlighted in this LinkedIn article by Matthew Gore, a Senior Associate at Holman Fenwick Willan. To tackle the effects of this critical knowledge gap, ICHCA’s Technical Seminar will bring all interested parties together to discuss how new IMO regulations can be implemented with limited disruption to your business.
