PTA: Ports and Terminals Luncheon

Featuring Christopher L. Koch Senior Advisor and former President and CEO of the World Shipping Council Mr. Koch recently retired from a 15-year tenure as president of the World Shipping Council. He remains an advisor to the WSC, comprised of all of the major container shipping companies. Through the WSC, these companies coordinate their efforts to tackle the world’s most challenging transportation issues. He will provide his insights on the current state of liner shipping and the regulatory agenda facing the industry from safety and security to environmental regulations. After a decade on Capitol Hill, Mr. Koch was appointed by President Bush to be the chairman of the Federal Maritime Commission. He then served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Sea-Land Service before becoming the first president of the WSC.
