WESTCONN - 2014 Port of NY/NJ Port Tour

Please join us for a tour of the Port of New York New Jersey.  You will have the unique opportunity to meet with Port Authority staff, Container terminal operators, and US Customs & Border Protection officials throughout the day and hear from them about what’s happening in the port.   This all-day tour includes: An overview of the Port of NY/NJ development program, given by PortCommerce Department management. A tour of Global Marine Terminal, Jersey City Lunch at Howland Hook Marine Terminal - Port Ivory Facility with apresentation made by a US Customs Official A tour of New York Container Terminal in Staten Island AND, if time permits: A sneak-peek at the site of SIMD (Staten Island Marine Development): , a warehouse and distribution facility currently in the planning stages
