With its decision to implement the zedas®cargo Long Haul software solution, ART Altmann Rail Traction GmbH, a subsidiary of ARS Altmann AG, will digitize its entire rail business in future – from planning and execution to billing of train services. The choice fell on ZEDAS due to its comprehensive range of functions, the flexibility of the system and its proven interface competence, which enables seamless integration into existing system landscapes.

Digitalization along the rail production chain

With zedas®cargo Long Haul, ART will in future control all rail production processes centrally and digitally – from order management and resource planning to operational management, documentation and billing. The solution is ideally suited for the planned international expansion: country-specific requirements, such as different cost rates, qualifications, working time regulations and brake calculations, can be mapped completely in the system.

The rail-specific ERP will be supplemented in future by the mobile solution Train Check. Employees create train compositions with the app directly at the loading points of the car factories using AI-based wagon number recognition. This ensures greater transparency and efficiency right from the start of the transport chain.
