Total Distribution, Inc. (TDI) President and CEO, Doug Sibila has been honored with a 2022 Northeast Ohio Smart 50 Award. This award recognizes the top executives of the 50 smartest companies in the Northeast Ohio region for their ability to effectively build and lead successful organizations.
“As a third-generation family member and President and CEO of TDI, I have first-hand experience in knowing what it takes for a family business to become and stay successful,” said Sibila.
Sibila was also recognized with a specialty award for TDI’s sustainability in business. TDI is committed to growth and sustainability in the communities where the company operates. The company offers job training, leadership programs, employee engagement initiatives, and emphasizes “Ship Green” practices to reduce their trucks’ empty miles by making sure returning trucks have a backhaul shipment. This focus on sustainability saves fuel, reduces pollution, and saves money.
Today, TDI operates in eight states, with 45 different warehouses dedicated to providing 3PL services that specialize in handling chemicals, plastics, food grade, and consumer goods.
The Northeast Ohio Smart 50 Awards ceremony was on November 9, 2022, at the Union Club in Cleveland, Ohio.
