Atlantic Logistics, a leading provider of third-party logistics services, has appointed Craig Merson as key account manager to develop new business across a variety of sectors, including automotive and heavy equipment.

Prior to joining Atlantic Logistics, Merson was with Hoegh Autoliners for more than 10 years.  At Hoegh, he served in a number of capacities, including port operations manager, head of port operations and terminal coordinator.  In addition, he was a marine agent for Norton Lilly International and vice president of operations for Davis Ship Service.
“Craig has numerous relationships with shippers, particularly in the RO/RO sector (roll on/roll off),” said Rob Hooper, CEO of Atlantic Logistics.  “We believe he will be a tremendous asset to Atlantic Logistics, introducing those shippers to the cadre of transportation services we offer.”
Merson’s educational background includes attending the Forward Leadership Training Program (Amsterdam, The Netherlands), Association of Ship Brokers and Agents, and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, where he majored in business administration and management.
