According to the Australian, at least 10 consulates in Melbourne have been targeted, with unverified reports saying they have received packages bearing the words “asbestos” and “wear a mask.” According to the newspaper, nations whose consulates are believed to have been targeted include the U.S., India, U.K., Switzerland, Germany, South Korea, Greece, Italy, Pakistan and Egypt.

The Indonesian consulate in Melbourne also received a suspicious package, according to Consul General Spica Tutuhatunewa.
