BDP International, a leading privately held global logistics and transportation services company, has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as one of the 2019 World’s Most Ethical Companies.
BDP International has been recognized each year since 2015 and is the only honoree in the logistics and transportation industry.
“This is a tremendous honor for BDP International, and the continuity of this recognition for the past four years is a testament to the values that drive our company,” said BDP Chairman and CEO Richard J. Bolte, Jr. “Our commitment to adhering to the highest ethical business practices is unwavering in every location across the globe. The entire BDP organization is humbled by this year’s award.”
In 2019, 128 honorees were recognized spanning 21 countries and 50 industries. The 13th class of honorees profoundly illustrates how companies continue to be the driving force for improving communities, building capable and empowered workforces, and fostering corporate cultures focused on ethics and a strong sense of purpose.
“At BDP, the culture of ethics first starts at the top and cascades through the company,” said BDP Legal Department Manager Candice Colon. “Thanks to the support of our leadership, we have been able to continuously enhance the ethics program and provide employees with a robust educational experience. This year’s recognition is a testament to BDP’s ongoing promise to make ethics a top priority in our daily operations.”
“Today, employees, investors and stakeholders are putting their greatest trust in companies to take leadership on societal issues. Companies that take the long view with a purpose-based strategy are proven to not only outperform but last,” said Ethisphere’s Chief Executive Officer Timothy Erblich. “I congratulate everyone at BDP International for earning this recognition.”
