Cadeler has completed its turbine installation campaign for all the 76 wind turbines at the 1.2 GW Baltic Power offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea. This milestone marks the completion of Poland's first offshore wind farm, with the turbine installation executed using two of Cadeler's jack-up vessels, Wind Osprey and Wind Mover.
Baltic Power, a joint venture between Polish energy group ORLEN and Canadian developer Northland Power, now enters the final stages of preparation before full commissioning and operation. This follows the delivery of first power to the Poland's national power grid in July 2026.

To complete this project, Cadeler installed 76 Vestas V236-15 MW wind turbines. With a total height of more than 260 metres and a swept area of more than 43,700 m², the sheer size of these turbines demonstrates the scale of the installation campaign. The project represents a significant milestone for Poland’s offshore wind sector, both as the country’s first offshore wind farm and in terms of the scale and complexity of its execution.
Mikkel Gleerup, CEO of Cadeler, comments: “We are pleased to have completed the installation of all 76 turbines at Baltic Power – Poland’s first offshore wind farm. This is an important milestone for the project and for the development of offshore wind in Poland. Projects of this scale require highly capable vessels, experienced teams and close collaboration across the project. We are proud to have supported our client in reaching this milestone and look forward to building on our partnerships in Poland as the country's offshore wind industry continues to develop.”
