On Thursday, November 17, cargo-partner celebrated its 25th anniversary in Croatia with around 300 guests at the Riverside Club in Zagreb. Following the opening of the iLogistics Center Zagreb earlier this year, cargo-partner took this opportunity to look back on the past quarter of a century and celebrate the company’s success together with its most valued customers and partners.

cargo-partner began its activities in Croatia in 1996 as the sixth country in the cargo-partner group. The company started out with a team of five employees in Zagreb, focusing on air and sea freight. Since then, cargo-partner has continuously developed its service portfolio and its footprint in the region, firmly establishing its position as one of the leading logistics providers in Croatia. Today, the local branch offers a full range of air, sea, road transport and warehousing services, currently employing over 100 people at five locations.

Zoran Starcevic, Managing Director of cargo-partner in Croatia, expressed his gratitude to the company’s customers, employees and partners in the country: “The past several years have once again shown us the importance of reacting flexibly to new challenges, and of having partners you can rely on in any situation. On behalf of our entire cargo-partner team, I would like to thank our esteemed customers for their trust and loyalty in the past 25 years. Our success would not have been possible without our employees, who never cease to go the extra mile to exceed our customers’ expectations. We will continue to follow our passion for excellence, cooperating closely with our selected partners and carriers, to deliver the best and most flexible solutions for whatever challenges may lie ahead.”

Stefan Krauter, CEO of cargo-partner, emphasized Croatia’s significance in the global cargo-partner network: “It was clear from the beginning that Croatia would play a key role in our expansion plans. Strategically located on the Adriatic Coast, the country provides an ideal gateway to Southeast Europe. Our new iLogistics Center Zagreb will serve as a regional distribution hub for sea freight imports from Asia via Rijeka. At the same time, its proximity to Zagreb Airport and connectivity to all major highways will allow us to achieve even faster transit times in our air freight and road transport solutions. I am confident that we will continue on this growth trajectory and excited to see what the next 25 years hold in store for cargo-partner in Croatia.”

The recently opened iLogistics Center Zagreb represents a significant milestone in cargo-partner’s history in Croatia. The modern logistics facility provides 17,500 m² of storage space. In addition to long- and short-term storage, the local team offers a wide range of value added services and road transport solutions throughout Europe. Fast transit is ensured by a dedicated customs bonded warehouse and comprehensive customs brokerage services for import and export shipments. Together with its warehouse in Jankomir, cargo-partner now offers a total of 21,500 m² of warehouse space in the Zagreb area.
