A growing focus on clean product imports has driven GAC Brazil’s further expansion into the north-east of the country with the opening of its 11th office, at the Port of Fortaleza.

Luciana Laranjeiras, GAC Brazil’s Commercial Northeast, says: “The capital of Ceara state as well as a major port city, Fortaleza has been identified as strategic to GAC’s growth serving the country’s LNG import market in the coming years.”

The new office is located in between GAC’s existing north-east bases in São Luis and Recife, and also covers ship agency operations at the nearby Mururipe and the Pecém port complexes.

Rodrigo Kill, GAC Brazil’s Shipping Manager, says: “This is the latest stage of our local strategy in the Brazilian clean products market, covering the major north-east states that import diesel and other clean products. Customers benefit from our local agency service boosted by our intel assistance including daily port line-ups.”

GAC now operates in the Brazilian shipping and logistics markets with headquarters in São Paulo and 10 other branch offices across the country.
