Goltens Worldwide announced that it has entered into an agreement for its sale to HD Hyundai Marine Solution (HMS). The transaction is anticipated to be completed in the late fourth quarter of 2026 or early first quarter of 2027.

The agreement represents an important step in Goltens' long-term development, bringing together its global engineering and service capabilities with the complementary strengths of HMS. Following completion, Goltens will continue to operate as an independent service provider maintaining the service approach, customer relationships and technical expertise that have defined its business for 86 years. Goltens' global network of service centers and field engineering teams will also create strong synergies with HMS, enabling the combined organization to better serve HMS's growing aftermarket customer base, including the large fleet of vessels and engines built by HD Hyundai, with faster, closer-to-customer repair, maintenance and retrofit support worldwide.

The proposed acquisition offers opportunities to expand technical capabilities, strengthen its global service coverage and support investment in people, facilities and technologies. Together, Goltens and HMS see significant potential to help customers meet increasingly complex maintenance, operational efficiency and decarbonization requirements across the marine, energy and industrial sectors.

"This agreement creates an exciting opportunity to build on the strengths of Goltens and broaden what we can deliver for our customers," said Sandeep Seth, CEO of Goltens Worldwide. "Our independence and the trust our customers place in us are central to our business. We will continue to serve them with the same responsiveness, technical expertise, and commitment they have always expected from Goltens. With HMS, we see considerable scope to invest, grow and develop capabilities that will create lasting value for our customers."

During the period leading up to completion, Goltens will continue business as usual. Customers and partners can continue to work with their existing Goltens contacts and rely on the company's established service network for ongoing projects, planned maintenance and urgent support.
