Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America announced leadership changes at two of its terminals in the region. Effective September 1, Mauricio Ortiz will take over as general manager of Florida International Terminal (FIT), while Cristián Ortega will assume the same position at Terminal Marítima Mazatlán (TMAZ).

In his new position, one of Ortiz's main challenges will be driving a new phase of growth at FIT. A Commercial Engineer with a Master in Finance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and an MBA from the Panamerican Institute for High Business Management (IPADE), he has over 16 years of experience within the group. He joined in 2010 as a Trainee Engineer and transferred in 2013 to Terminal Marítima Mazatlán, where he served as commercial manager and operations director. Since March 2019, he has served as general manager of that terminal.

Meanwhile, Cristián Ortega will succeed Ortiz at the helm of Terminal Marítima Mazatlán, ensuring continuity in the development of operations in Mexico. He holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from Universidad del Desarrollo and an MBA from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He joined the group in 2011 as a Trainee Engineer and later served as Head of Projects and Strategic Planning at Iquique Terminal Internacional (ITI). Since January 2018, he has held the position of Director of Administration and Finance at TMAZ.
