Norfolk - OPEN:

Monday, September 17

  • Posted hours at all terminals and offices – all locations – BUSINESS AS USUAL
  • TRS reservations required, as per the standard operating plan​
  • Norfolk is experiencing vessel congestion and expects to be back on schedule within the week

NC Ports - CLOSED

The Port of Wilmington and the Port of Morehead City are currently at Condition Zulu and closed to all vessel traffic. NC State Ports Authority continues to focus on protecting staff, cargo, facilities and equipment. Waters may continue to rise due to the continuous rain expected through Thursday Sept 20.

The US Coast Guard (USCG) will continue to evaluate conditions throughout the week. The terminal has not been flooded, however severe rains are still expected throughout the week.

Charleston - OPEN

The Wando terminal is experiencing vessel congestion, however it should be resolved with the week.

Mon Sept 17: The Maersk Sentosa is expected to work on Monday.

The Maersk Semarang has omitted Charleston. She will call Freeport on 9/19 to transship cargo for further delivery. Cargo destined for Charleston will be loaded onto the SeaLand Washington for arrival on 9/22.
