TForce, an operating company of TFI International Inc., a North American leader in the transportation and logistics industry, announced today it has named Chris Miller its new vice president of commercial.

In his new role, Miller will be responsible for designing and executing the strategic plan to unite the portfolio of TForce brands in the U.S. and bring them to market as a flexible, value-added service portfolio that can address a broad range of shipper needs.
The three divisions of TForce combine high-velocity, time-definite supply chain operations with industry expertise. The dedicated, expert staff of Final Mile, Critical and Logistics ensures customers receive continuous fulfillment coverage and supply chain support. Miller’s extensive industry experience and advanced background in a variety of supply chain channels complements TForce’s brand vision which will ultimately drive the evolution of the company’s service and technology offerings.

A 30-year veteran of the transportation and logistics business, Miller has worked on both sides of the transportation equation by selling and purchasing. His background covers key supply chain operating disciplines including warehousing and distribution, logistics planning, material and fulfillment operations, supply chain network design, administration and team development.
TForce operates a network of 60 distribution and product staging centers in the U.S., with nearly 4,400 dedicated last-mile delivery trucks covering 92 percent of communities in the U.S. TForce’s capabilities include expedited last mile service for parcel, package, freight and large-format goods delivered into homes or businesses.
