Kalmar, part of Cargotec, recognized select counterbalance dealers in the Americas region for their performance in 2016 at the 2017 Dealer Meeting in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Each year Kalmar awards the achievement of dealers in two different categories, President’s and Premier Partner Awards.   There are four President’s Awards up for grabs each year, the highest performing dealer in  new unit sales, parts sales, largest growth in unit sales and largest growth in parts sales.  This year’s President’s Award winner for new unit sales was Darr Equipment of Houston, TX. The award for highest parts sales went to Towlift, Inc. out of Cleveland, OH.  The next two President’s Award winners were recognized for their increased sales over the prior year, the first going to Herc-U-Lift, Inc. from St. Cloud, MN for their growth in new unit sales.  The final President’s Award went to MasonLift, Ltd. out of Vancouver, BC as they were recognized for their growth in Kalmar parts sales. The Premier Partner Award is the most difficult and thus most prestigious award that can be received by a Kalmar dealer.  Each year dealers are scored on their performance via the Kalmar Dealer Performance Review and this award is given to dealers who have not only hit unit and parts sales targets but also maintain a positive market image, good financial standing, participate in Kalmar sales and service trainings, and maintain exemplary service capabilities.  Premier Partner winners for 2016 included:  Ring Power Lift Trucks, MasonLift, Ltd., Towlift, Inc. and Herc-U-Lift, Inc.
