Maersk Line will increase its rates for USA & Canada to Far East Asia services from August 1st. Here is an update to that announcement.

Shipments bound for Cagayan de Oro (Phillipines), Jakarta (Indonesia), Surabaya (Indonesia), and Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), will increase on August 1st as announced.
The remainder of Far East destinations will postpone the increase until September 1st, equal to the amounts communicated previously.
The increase applicable from September 1st, for all contract rates expiring August 31st, is set out below:

Maersk Line will send you contract documents to sign in order to secure this new rate. If Maersk Line does not receive your written agreement before the expiry of your applicable rate (August 31, 2018), then shipments tendered shall be charged at a higher tariff rate until Maersk Line is able to obtain your written agreement, and has sufficient time to file that agreement with the Federal Maritime Commission.
