Maersk announces it will be reopening acceptance for nonhazardous dry cargo to and from Hodeidah. The situation in Yemen continues to be a delicate one based on the recent challenges in the area. As a result, an Emergency Risk Surcharge (ERS) will be implemented on August 1st, 2015 for FMC controlled trades. This ERS surcharge will be USD 530 per 20ft container and USD 1060 per 40ft container. Lastly, the Congestion Fee that has been in effect since April 1st, 2015 will remain in effect for this location. This congestion fee is USD 150 per 20ft container and USD 300 per 40ft container.
