Mexico plans to boost US imports as part of trade treaty review, Sheinbaum says

Mexico is planning to buy more goods from the United States and reduce imports from other nations as part of the review of the US-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) trade agreement, President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Monday.

"The United States is asking for its so-called trade deficit to be reduced," Sheinbaum said in her daily morning press conference.
