Aurrigo International plc has delivered a 19% increase in group revenues to £4.2m for the first six months of 2026, driven by a significant rise in its core automotive activity and good progress on all its current autonomous projects.
Major operational highlights have included a £4.5m three-year framework agreement to supply electrical systems for a next generation supercar program in the UK and securing a £6.28m contract to design and manufacture 25 autonomous guided vehicles.
This site is three times bigger than the previous factory and will serve as its UK hub for advanced engineering, autonomous vehicle development, high-volume manufacturing and ongoing automotive activities.
Prof. David Keene MBE, CEO of Aurrigo International, commented: “The first half of 2026 has demonstrated the complementary strengths of our business.
“Automotive delivered a strong recovery and remained cash generative, while the £6.28m Ultra Global contract provides further validation of our developing autonomous aviation strategy.”
He continued: “I was particularly pleased to secure our first defense contract - this could become a significant market for us. With our expanded manufacturing facility now operational, contracted programs progressing and a more mature autonomous pipeline, we enter the second half with confidence in our growth prospects.”
Aurrigo International plc is committed to the ongoing roll-out of its international hub and licensing program, which is accelerating its global commercialization strategy by seeking local relationships, funding and manufacturing support in Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and the US.
This was reinforced with the appointment of aviation specialist Mark Gower as Director of Global Airport Operations earlier this year and the granting of a license to provide ground handling services at East Midlands Airport, supporting the roll-out of autonomous ground service equipment.
David went on to add: “The group continues to make excellent progress across its contracted programs and wider autonomous pipeline, with several opportunities expected to reach key decisions around the end of 2026.
“£1.43m Government grant funding was awarded to us for the deployment of Auto-Shuttle® vehicles in autonomous safety and inspection roles at UK airports and that will drive other opportunities.
“We have also started to see early-stage interest in applying our engineering capability to adjacent sectors beyond automotive and aviation. For instance, we have just signed our first defense contract for the supply of electrical systems for unmanned vehicles.”
