MSC Bunker Recovery Surcharge from USA & Puerto Rico

Note: The below announcement for IPMR TRADE sent out on December 6th, 2018 is applicable for Reefer cargo ONLY and not dry cargo.

USA & Puerto Rico to Indian Subcontinent, Middle East and Red Sea

Bunker Recovery Surcharge (BRC) effective January 1st, 2019

Effective January 1st, 2019 BRC (Bunker Recovery Charge) for IPMR Reefers will replace current BUC and FAD surcharges.

This new surcharge will be applicable to all contract lanes as subject to, and it will be monthly reviewed.

All in rates will remain unchanged from December to January as the ocean freights will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the new breakdown. Note that Dec BUC/FAD values will be extended for Jan as well while we are working to update the various contracts with BRC.
