Effective from December 10th 2018, MSC will introduce an administrative fee of USD 30.00 (THIRTY DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS) on all cargo destined to the Republic of South Africa.
The charge is levied in accordance with the newly introduced 24-Hour Advance Load Manifest and the carrier’s obligation towards advanced manifesting to local Customs.
This fee will be charged per bill of lading and will be payable as either ‘collect’ or ‘pre-paid’ at Port of Discharge or Port of Load respectively, and in accordance with the agreement for payment of freight charges.
