Overhaul announced significant advancements across its cold-chain product offerings, expanding its focus beyond temperature monitoring to help organizations manage in-transit product risk from one connected platform.

The expanded cold-chain portfolio brings together real-time temperature and location data, shipment and logistics context, predictive risk intelligence, collaborative exception management, and audit-ready records. The goal is to give quality, logistics, and operations teams earlier insight into what is happening to a shipment, clearer direction on what requires attention, and the evidence needed to support product-quality and compliance decisions.

“Cold-chain teams already have more alerts than they can work through, and everyone means pulling data from a different device, carrier, or partner to piece together what happened,” said Karin Stevens, Chief Marketing Officer at Overhaul. “We are removing that fragmentation and bringing those pieces together into one view so teams can move from reacting to excursions to managing risk with greater insights.”

The product advancement includes:

One view across fragmented data: Device-agnostic, not device-indifferent - Overhaul brings together sensor, telematics, partner, and API-driven data across carriers, modes, and lanes while applying quality configurations and workflows across supported devices.

Earlier, more contextual intervention: Overhaul’s AI is trained on billions of telemetry data points collected across 20 years of monitored shipments. That informs the platform’s predictive risk intelligence and shipment context, configurable escalation workflows, and 24/7 control-tower support with outcomes help teams prioritize the shipments and events that need attention first.

Reduce false temperature alarms: Overhaul is advancing temperature reporting to better distinguish pre-departure pack-out and pre-cooling activity from the true in-transit portion of a shipment using location context, and customers can set how readings are captured at origin and destination.

Quality and compliance workflows: Complete, traceable shipment records and configurable workflows give quality teams the context to assess excursions, support product disposition, and be prepared for audits. Overhaul provides audit-ready reporting aligned to GxP, USP <1079>, FSMA, and HACCP, with GxP workflows and temperature and location data designed for 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 audit readiness.

The portfolio is designed for pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturers, distributors, logistics providers, and food and beverage supply chains that need stronger traceability, exception response, and excursion prevention.

Along with these product offerings, Overhaul is expanding its investment with a dedicated cold-chain team of Stefan Surpitski, Melita Marks, Todd Thompson, Nate Morrison, and Peggy Johnson, who are contributing subject-matter expertise across market strategy, customer engagement, product direction, and industry education. Together, the team brings a practical perspective on the quality, logistics, regulatory, and operational decisions that shape cold-chain performance.

“We are giving teams confidence in the decisions they make because now they have temperature data that is connected to the shipment’s actual context,” said Melita Marks, Cold Chain Market Advisor at Overhaul. “Our team works directly with customers and with our product group, so that what we see in the field shapes the platform, ensuring teams have the information they need to make decisions in transit and protect the integrity of their product.” Overhaul oversees more than $1.4 trillion in shipment value across 170 countries.
