FREEPORT, TX – During the November 29th meeting, the Port Commission and staff presented a check in the amount of $52,880 to Bobby Fuller, Director of Texas Port Ministry from the proceeds of the Annual Port Freeport Golf Tournament held October 22, 2018 at The Wilderness Golf Course in Lake Jackson. Located in Freeport, Texas Port Ministry has provided spiritual, social, and physical care to the Freeport Harbor Community since 1974.
The 7th Annual Port Freeport Golf Tournament proceeds will assist Texas Port Ministry in providing services to mariners and truckers that come into contact with the Freeport Harbor Channel community. The success of the tournament is contributed to efforts of the staff, dedication of volunteers, and the generosity of sponsors and participants.
