MIAMI, Florida - 2M Alliance partners, A.P. Moller – Maersk and Mediterranean Shipping Company, recently selected PortMiami for their Mediterranean/U.S. Gulf Service (TA6).
The new weekly service, which includes a fleet of eight container vessels, expands trade and commerce opportunities connecting major Mediterranean markets to the U.S. via PortMiami. It will generate an estimated 1,040 twenty-foot equivalent units per call.

PortMiami’s independent container terminals, South Florida Container Terminal (SFCT) and Port of Miami Terminal Operating Company (POMTOC), are participating in the operations.

We’re witnessing the results of more than $1 billion completed capital infrastructure investments that offer shippers a strategic hub equipped to efficiently handle the world’s ocean carriers.”
