U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo met with the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong. During their meeting, Secretary Raimondo and Prime Minister Lee discussed areas of cooperation under the U.S.-Singapore Partnership for Growth and Innovation (PGI) that Vice President Harris announced in Singapore during her August visit to Singapore, and that Secretary Raimondo and Minister Gan Kim Yong launched in October. The Secretary discussed the commitment to work with Singapore to produce meaningful outcomes for the people and businesses of the United States and Singapore.

Additionally, the Secretary discussed building on the U.S. and Singapore’s strong bilateral collaboration through President Biden’s proposed Indo-Pacific economic framework to advance resilience, inclusion, sustainability, and the interests of our middle classes. She invited Singapore to pursue shared goals with the United States in areas such as infrastructure, the digital economy, supply chain resiliency, and more.
