Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Lawson Saunders has been promoted to service center manager in Sherman, Texas.

With over 10 years of experience at Southeastern, Saunders started his career as a part-time freight handler. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including quality assurance leader, management trainee, inbound supervisor, outbound supervisor, inbound operations manager and most recently, outbound operations manager.
“Lawson is a true embodiment of the passion and dedication to quality without question service that is central to the company culture at Southeastern,” said Jim Jones, regional vice president of operations for Southeastern Freight Lines. “His outstanding track record and selfless values have consistently motivated those around him and we’re excited to see his continued success leading the Sherman team.”
Saunders will relocate to the Sherman area with his wife and two children and looks forward to serving the Southeastern team in this new capacity.
