Washington, DC – Due to changes to the House schedule as a result of Hurricane Irma, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure has postponed this week’s hearings of the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation and the Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials.  Postponed: Hearing of the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, chaired by U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), entitled, “Building a 21st Century Infrastructure for America: Coast Guard Stakeholders’ Perspectives.” The hearing was originally scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building. Postponed: Hearing of the Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials, chaired by U.S. Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA), entitled, “Building a 21st Century Infrastructure for America: Rail Stakeholders’ Perspectives.”  The\is hearing was originally scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
