The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) announced the installation of new association leaders at its 2019 Capital Ideas Conference & Exhibition, held April 9-12, 2019 in Orlando, FL. Cori Eckley, CTB, Vice President, North American Transport Concepts, Inc., of Arlington, TX, and Shawn Roch, CTB, Vice President Sales and
Operations, G. Roch Consultant Ltd., were elected as At-large members of the TIA Board. Re-elected to the Board as At-Large Members were Bob Biesterfeld, President, C.H. Robinson Worldwide, and Lisa Pate, CTB, Director of Agent Development, Bennett International Logistics.

The Board elected the following officers: Brian Evans, CTB, President & CEO, L & L Freight Services, was elected Chairman of the Board; Mike Riccio, CTB, Chief Marketing Officer, Leonard’s Express, was elected Vice Chairman of the Board; Mark Christos, Vice President, Highway Services, Matson Logistics, was elected Treasurer; Rob Kemp,
President, DRT Logistics, was elected Secretary; and Jason Beardall, President, England Logistics, became Immediate Past Chairman. The officers form the Executive Committee. Rounding out the Executive Committee is Russ Leo, CTB, President, RLS Logistics, TIA Foundation Chairman and, the newly-elected Chairs include Lynn Gravley, President and CEO, NT Logistics, Inc., TIA Services Chair, Kristi Knichel, President, Knichel Logistics, Intermodal Logistics Chair, and John Miller, Owner, Plains Dedicated, LLC, Highway Logistics Chair, Sue Spero, CTB, TIA PAC Chair (Spero is continuing to serve for another term).

At-Large Board Members continuing to serve include: Paul Benfer, CTB, Managing Partner, Kinetic Supply-Chain, Inc.; Joe Chandler, CTB, SPI
International; Tom Devine, CTB, Vice President, L&M Transportation Services, Inc.; Ramona Hood, FedEx Custom Critical, Inc.; Wayne Levinson, CTB, Bulk Fr8, LLC; Mike Nervick, CEO, Sleek Fleet, LLC; Greg Sanders, CTB, CEO, Rail Delivery Services; Steve Spoerl, CTB, Simple Logistics.

Conference Chairs continuing to serve are: Airfreight Logistics Conference Chair Brandon Arnold, CTB, Vice President, Operations, Intelligent Logistics, LLC; and Jim Damman, President, Mode Transportation, as International Logistics Conference Chair.
