BALTIMORE, MD. – Transwestern Commercial Services today announces it has brokered the sale of the Airport Square Portfolio, strategically located adjacent to Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Airport). Transwestern provided investment sales services on behalf of a long-term client. JU Holdings of New York purchased the four-building portfolio.

Totaling 238,459 square feet, the portfolio includes three one-story flex/industrial buildings at 800, 900, and 930 International Drive and one four-story office building at 849 International Drive. The four buildings are part of the larger Airport Square Park.

“Airport Square offered a rare opportunity to acquire quality flex product in a highly populated and affluent area along with a burgeoning cyber defense and defense contractor market,” said Mark Glagola, Senior Managing Director at Transwestern. “The portfolio is 85 percent leased, providing JU Holding with the opportunity to create value through leasing the available space while still earning secure cash flow from high-credit tenants.”

The portfolio is adjacent to Maryland Route 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) and 2 miles from Interstate 95, 8 miles from downtown Baltimore, and 20 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. The properties are surrounded by a range of amenities including hotels and restaurants, many of which are within walking distance.

Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic Capital Markets Group focuses on investment sales services throughout the Baltimore/Washington region, providing clients with exceptional service and market knowledge. During the past 24 months, the group’s transactions have exceeded $1.7 billion in aggregate value.
