PHILADELPHIA -
East Coast Warehouse & Distribution, a leading temperature-controlled logistics provider, today announced it has been awarded a five-year contract by U.S. Customs & Border Protection to serve as a Centralized Examination Station (CES) for the Port of Entry of the Delaware River and Bay in Philadelphia beginning November 14, 2016.
Located at 1600 Warfield Street, East Coast Warehouse CES will be designated by CBP to perform the following exams:
- Manifest Exam Team (MET)/Trade Compliance
- Contraband Enforcement Team (A-TCET)
- USDA Agriculture Quarantine Inspections (AQI)
East Coast Warehouse has more than 20 years of CES experience, and has served as the only comprehensive CES in New Jersey since 2012.

Philadelphia Regional Port Authority CEO Jeff Theobald welcomed East Coast Warehouse to the Port of Philadelphia, and expressed the Port community’s support for USCBP, noting, “USCBP Philadelphia does an amazing job protecting our nation’s borders and facilitating trade. We are proud of our strong working relationship with them, and look forward to working with them at the new East Coast Warehouse CES.”
