American Global Strategies (AGS) and Wellington Advocacy announced a strategic partnership that will provide clients with coordinated counsel on consequential business decisions shaped by geopolitical risk, cross-border trade, tariffs, and policy uncertainty. The partnership brings together senior experience in the United States, Canada, and allied markets, giving clients an integrated perspective on developments across the Canada-U.S. relationship and beyond.

AGS was founded by former U.S. National Security Advisor Robert C. O'Brien and former National Security Council Chief of Staff Alexander Gray. Its leadership team includes David Malpass, former President of the World Bank; the Hon. Scott Morrison, Australia's 30th Prime Minister; Chad Wolf, former Acting Secretary of Homeland Security; and Larry Kudlow, former Director of the White House National Economic Council.

Wellington Advocacy brings together a national, multi-partisan team of advisors who have served Canadian prime ministers, premiers, and cabinet ministers. Wellington's Strategic Advisory Board is chaired by the Hon. Wayne Wouters, Canada's 21st Clerk of the Privy Council and former Head of the Public Service. The Board also includes the Hon. Scott Morrison; Stephen de Boer, former Canadian Ambassador to the World Trade Organization; Christine Hogan, former Deputy Minister of International Trade; and the Hon. Thomas Mulcair, former Quebec Minister of the Environment and former Leader of the Official Opposition in the Parliament of Canada.

Through the partnership, AGS and Wellington will work together on select client matters requiring closely coordinated insight across the United States and Canada, as well as broader geopolitical and international business considerations.
