Ivory Coast shipping company Bollore Africa Logistics reported net profits of 8.21 billion CFA francs ($16.50 million)in 2012, more than a three-fold increase from 2.24 billion CFA in 2011, the company said.

Turnover rose to 74.18 billion CFA francs from 56.18 billion in 2011, according to a financial report posted on the website of West Africa's BRVM regional bourse.

Traffic through Ivory Coast's main port in Abidjan, which is managed by the company, was disrupted for several months in 2011 due to a brief civil war. (Reuters)
