Con-way Freight, a less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. announced the opening of a new facility housing its national administrative operations in the Metroplex suburb of North Richland Hills.

For more than 15 years, Con-way Freight has been a valued employer in the North Richland Hills community. The company recently signed a long-term lease and moved into new, Class A commercial space at 9151 Boulevard 26, continuing its commitment to the North Richland Hills community and retaining nearly 300 jobs in the area.

'This new location provides a modern, attractive facility that meets our needs today and provides capacity for expansion,' says Keith Burnett, Con-way Freight's vice president of administrative services. 'It's an excellent building providing a good working environment for our employees, is centrally located in the community, and allows us to better serve our customers. We're pleased to continue to be a part of the North Richland Hills business community.'

Burnett added that the new facility will also enable the company to optimally organize its customer service and support teams to enhance its industry leading LTL service performance.

Con-way Freight now occupies 50,000 square feet at The Corporate Center at the Crossing, a destination spot that includes retail shops, restaurants, professional offices, and the new city library and community center. The new space houses a variety of key administrative, customer service and business process support teams involved in activities such as billing, credit, customer solutions and national sales support. The facility provides support services for customers throughout Con-way Freight's network of 300 service centers in North America.
