Global shipping and logistics services provider GAC has won the coveted “Transport/Logistics/Freight Award” at the 2008 Seatrade Middle East and Indian Subcontinent (MEIS) Awards, the premier awards event for the region’s shipping industry. It is the second year in a row that the Award has gone to GAC.

One of the oldest and most esteemed annual awards in the region, the Seatrade Middle East and Indian Subcontinent awards has, for twenty years championed high standards and quality in shipping and issues that are close to the heart of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The Award also seeks to honor those who have made significant contributions to the Maritime business-related industries.

The winners of 26 categories, selected by an independent panel consisting of renowned industry figures, were presented with their prizes at a prestigious gala ceremony held at the InterContinental Hotel in Dubai Festival City.
