Tariff cargo as well as existing service contracts will be subject to this charge. BAF will continue to be monitored on a quarterly basis and adjustments will be made following the review period, with the appropriate notice given to the trade.

Effective October 1, 2011, the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) for all cargo moving from US and Canadian West Coast Ports to European and Mediterranean destinations will be increased from USD 346/20', USD 692/40' to USD 392/20', USD 784/40'.
