ODW Logistics, Inc. is now an Operating Authority in California, allowing their asset-based transportation group Dist-Trans Co., to bring more of ODW's capabilities to the West Coast and better serve clients nationwide.

The new expansion into California allows Dist-Trans Co. to provide current and future clients with an asset-based solution for their transportation needs. As a regional carrier, Dist-Trans Co. provides full transportation services for their own clients as well as ODW's customer base. Although the company's roots are based in regional shipping and transportation, the organization also offers drayage and yard management services.

'We are pleased to offer this option in addition to our other services,' said Carl Neverman, Regional Vice President of Client Solutions. 'For some time now, several customers have been interested in an asset-based solution and now we are in a position to offer a more complete package to better meet their needs.'

Dist-Trans Co. has provided customized transportation services since 1980, when it was created as an extension of the services offered by parent company ODW Logistics. Dist-Trans Co. offers the highest service levels with dedicated representatives who have supply chain experience and are familiar with industry demands.

ODW Logistics, Inc. is a third-party logistics provider with shared and dedicated warehouses nationwide. With more than 1,000 employees and over three million square feet of warehouse space, ODW provides unparalleled distribution, e-commerce fulfillment, transportation management, asset-based trucking, import logistics, yard management and manufacturing line support services. ODW is a privately held asset and non-asset based provider, offering highly responsive, personal service to a variety of customers ranging from international Fortune 500 companies to locally owned and managed businesses.
