Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has relocated its Fort Smith Service Center to a larger facility that will enable the company to maintain growth in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

The 52-door service center employs more than two dozen people, and is located in Fort Chafee Industrial Park at 8101 Flagstone Road. Old Dominion has maintained a presence in the area for nine years.

Located on the Arkansas-Oklahoma border, Fort Smith is an important location for Old Dominion due to its close proximity to Interstates 540 and 40. Fort Smith is also a major regional manufacturing center.

'This expanded, state-of-the-art service center will enable us to sustain Old Dominion's steady growth in the region,' said Chris Kelley, Vice President of the Central States Region at Old Dominion. 'With the increased space, we will continue providing customers with excellent customer service, including Old Dominion's industry-leading delivery rates and claims ratios.'

The service center's coverage area includes western Arkansas (Bentonville, Rogers, Siloam Springs, Fayetteville, Springdale and Russellville) and eastern Oklahoma (Poteau, Stigler, Sallisaw and Stillwell).
