Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has opened a new service center in Flagstaff, Arizona, bolstering the company's presence in Arizona and the Southwestern United States.

Strategically located along Interstate 40, the eight-door facility joins the company's nationwide network of more than 215 service centers. The new location will allow Old Dominion to effectively manage increased freight traffic in Northern Arizona, the Verde Valley and the White Mountains.

'With this new location, we are closer to our customers in Northern Arizona and can react to meet their needs more quickly,' said Gerry Mendoza, manager of the Flagstaff Service Center. 'In addition to improving transit times, the Flagstaff Service Center will help us maintain our promise of providing the highest quality service to customers.'

The Flagstaff Service Center, located at 5480 E Penstock Avenue in Flagstaff, is Old Dominion's third location in Arizona and provides direct service to a number of regional cities, including Williams, Sedona, Cottonwood, Winslow, Holbrook, Show Low and Springerville. The company also maintains service centers in Phoenix and Tucson.
