The long-running successful partnership between Cargologic and Swiss WorldCargo is set to continue: a new five-year contract between the companies underlines the success of the arrangement and places the focus on continuity of quality and reliability. The contract was signed 26 March 2008 in Zurich.

According to Oliver Evans, Chief Cargo Officer of Swiss WorldCargo, it is Cargologic's reliability and quality of services that have prompted the contract extension: "Swiss WorldCargo is a global leader in quality, as measured by the Flown-as-Planned metric developed by Cargo 2000, in which our scores place us consistently amongst the leaders, and frequently number one worldwide. We are proud of this reliability, achieved throughout our network thanks to our staff, but also to those of our handling partners. Specifically, we could not receive this recognition without the support and partnership of our hub handlers Cargologic, whose management and staff are loyal, meticulous and motivated. Furthermore this new agreement including Lufthansa Cargo marks an important milestone in our drive to move under one roof for handling services, bringing the members of the Lufthansa Cargo Group closer together and enabling us to offer complementary services to our customers."

Peter Widmer, Chairman of the Cargologic Board of Directors, was also pleased with the agreement: "Cargologic has been a member of our group of firms since 2002 and is on track for confirmed growth." The efficiency and reliability of the company are based on 50 years' experience in airfreight handling.

The long-term renewal of the tried and tested partnership between Swiss WorldCargo and Cargologic is not just valuable to the partners themselves. It is also a clear acknowledgement of the Zurich Airport location and a substantial contribution to its future growth.
