Atlantic Intermodal Services will soon move its Charleston offices from its leased location at 2500 Clements Ferry Road to a free-standing facility the company purchased at 2516 Clements Ferry Road. The space was previously occupied by Kenan Transport.

“We outgrew our current offices and yard but wanted to stay in close proximity to our current location as we are equidistant from the North Charleston and Wando ports,” says Jeff Banton, AIS president. “Our new facility will offer many efficiencies for our team members, equipment and our customers, not the least of which is having our offices and yard at the same location.”
AIS’ new facility features upgraded security and technology, 3,500 square feet of office space and a 24/7, secure, four-acre yard that can easily accommodate AIS’ growing staff and truck count.
“We will be fully operational in the new facility in January,” says Banton. “Our employees are excited about our new location that will enable us to continue our strategic growth.”
AIS was recently named one of the Top 20 Fastest Growing Companies by SC Biz News.
“This award is the pinnacle for us,” says Banton. “It gets the attention of customers because it tells them we must be doing something right.”
