Balena Projects coordinated the transportation of two conveyor belt units with a combined weight of 55 tons from Port Clinton, Ohio, to the Port of Houston, Texas. The cargo was prepared at Houston for onward ocean transportation to the Port of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, requiring close coordination across inland transportation, customs clearance and port operations.
Balena Projects managed trucking from the origin, customs clearance, terminal handling charges (THC) and port handling at Houston. The operation also included the safe lifting and positioning of the conveyor belt units onto specialized transportation equipment.
