Budapest Airport resumed operations on Monday after a temporary halt when runways were closed as they were covered in debris due to a heavy storm, the airport's operator said in a statement on its Facebook page.
The airport cleaned up one of its two runways and traffic restarted at 1400 GMT, Budapest Airport said.
The airport also said that water entered the roof of the departures hall of terminal 2A, which was subsequently emptied and all check-in procedures were shifted to terminal 2B.
The airport said there were no injuries from the storm damage.
