In Slovakia, cargo-partner has expanded its cooperation with a long-term customer, a global high-tech manufacturer that supplies components for electric cars. The customer’s main challenge consisted of coordinating transport from their four production sites in Slovakia, Hungary, and Spain to the their OEM partner in Germany, including the return of empty small parts containers (KLTs).
To streamline this process, a central storage and distribution hub was set up at cargo-partner’s iLogistics Center in Dunajská Streda, benefiting from the logistics provider’s extensive road network throughout Europe. Today, cargo-partner handles around 180 orders per day for the automotive supplier. This includes daily truck deliveries of steering systems from the customer’s production facilities to the cargo-partner warehouse as well as storage, outgoing orders based on the OEM’s distribution requests, repackaging, and washing of KLTs using cargo-partner’s own washing machine at the warehouse – all in accordance with strict automotive OEM standards.
Hong Kong: Dedicated E-Commerce Solution for Two Retail Brands
The team in Hong Kong set up a dedicated e-commerce center within cargo-partner’s 13,000 m² warehouse. The comprehensive e-fulfillment solution was created for two well-known retail brands from Korea that sell their products via several e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or HKTVmall, the largest online shopping platform in Hong Kong. The cooperation proved particularly challenging with products being sold 24/7 and the short lead time to move stock from the previous operators to the new warehouse. Nonetheless, cargo-partner successfully managed the transition – with only one business day lost – as well as the integration of the customers’ warehouse management systems.
The stock transfer took place over weekends and public holidays, and the local warehouse team managed to seamlessly integrate over 800 stock keeping units and packaging materials on over 450 m². Since then, the team has been managing up to 3,000 B2C online orders per day, demonstrating the company’s ability to provide fast, tailor-made solutions for customers and their e-commerce business.

From tracking containers to overseeing container acceptance at the terminal and subsequent receipt at the Sottrum warehouse, cargo-partner ensures a smooth transition. Flexible customs clearance options are available at the terminal and warehouse (via T1). In addition, cargo-partner ensures precise inventory control, regularly verifying references, batches, and customs information to guarantee the right goods reach production promptly. Goods are prepared and delivered in close alignment with production cycles, with simultaneous handling of both duty-paid and duty-unpaid items.
Croatia: Efficient E-Fulfillment Support for Toy Distributor
In Croatia, cargo-partner works with a leading toy distributor, providing efficient e-commerce logistics support from its iLogistics Center in Zagreb. Faced with frequent seasonal spikes with over 500 orders per day, the customer required comprehensive services including customs declaration, packing and repackaging of goods, with a commitment to 24-hour delivery, as promised on the company website.

By consolidating its spare parts logistics at a central location, the manufacturer now benefits from streamlined order processing, later cut-off times for customers as well as emergency orders on public holidays.
Key requirements included UV- and dust-protected storage for small parts as well as storage of pallets, long and heavy goods, maintaining constant humidity levels.
