Cargobase, the platform to simplify freight, announced today that it has successfully opened its first international sales office in Phoenix, Arizona to promote its enterprise platform across North America.

The opening of the new office follows a significantly growing interest in its enterprise platform among Fortune 500 shippers in the Automotive, Oil & Gas and Aerospace industries.
“The opening of our US office is a real milestone for Cargobase. Our platform is officially being used in over 35 countries, making us truly global. The office will house our first dedicated sales hire. We have always applied an organic growth approach with our customers, whilst building and refining a fully actualized product that is a great market-fit, an approach that has resulted in a 60% YoY revenue growth in 2018. In 2019 and beyond we are ready and eager for more companies to know about our platform and its undeniable benefits.” – Wiebe Helder, CEO, Cargobase.
Headquartered in Singapore, Cargobase has been in business since 2013. It officially launched its platform for enterprise shippers in late 2016. Over the years, the platform has become a one-stop solution for shippers to manage any type of spot-buy freight, either using real-time quoting or automated rate-cards. Cargobase differentiates itself in the market by offering an easy to adopt a solution that automates the entire shipment life-cycle for any freight mode, including air, ocean, road, rail, and parcel.
“Our strategy has always been different from other logistics platforms in the market. Being from the logistics industry, we profoundly understand the needs of both the shipper and provider, as well as the complexities of their roles and relationships. That has been the key to our success in building a resource and investment lean product; without much financing. I am very excited about 2019 as we plan to scale fast and let every business get a chance to access and interact with our platform.” – Wiebe Helder, CEO, Cargobase.
